All three kiddos!

My third, and most likely final, c-section was the easiest of them all. After going thru it twice I figured out better how to handle the stresses and the meds. Recovery was not as quick as the first two, but we sure enjoyed a peaceful stay in the hospital this time around. The older kids were a little disinterested in coming to the hospital or staying very long when they did. While I would have loved for them to miss us and want to love more on their new brother, it was also nice that they were content to spend that time with their grandparents and Michael and I could have some quiet moments with our newest family member. Then Michael went home to be with the kids and my mom came and stayed with me a bit. I soaked up this sweet new baby knowing when we headed home life was not going to be so simple!

The afternoon of Tate's birthday, Michael stepped away and called to accept his new job in Savannah. We began telling our parents and friends about this news quickly. He would start this adventure in two short weeks. What a blur.

Our days

Getting more alert

We survived those first BUSY couple of weeks only with the help of family. Kai's last week of Kindergarten, lots of doctor visits, celebrating the end of school, the Florida Baugher family coming to visit, Michael finishing his time at Academy, planning the move, trying to figure out where to live and in the short term where Michael would stay while he was commuting, saying goodbye to friends and family, a fun family day out at a state park prepping to be separated until we could make the move.

And then May was gone!

Tannehill State Park

We wore them out!
