Food and a step stool = Kai Bliss

We had another great week! Kai did not cry any day when I left him and even got down on his own to go play on Friday. Ms. Priscilla cheated a little bit though, because she had pulled out butter cookies which is what got him out of my arms. =) This kid LOVES to eat. My wallet fears this will not be something he gets over any time soon. I know so many kids are picky eaters and am just grateful at the variety of things he eats and enjoys.

Saturday (yesterday) was Michael's last hunting day for the season. Kai and I had a great day just playing at home and then hanging out at Nonie and Dagan's for a little bit before dinner. We will be glad to have Daddy home next Saturday though. Today we got to play outside for a little bit at Wald Park. It was a touch too cold for me, but Kai loved getting outside to play for the little time we could stand it.

Have not been very good at snapping pictures of him. Just spending too much time enjoying playing with him. His vocabulary is growing every day and he insists that you sit with him on the floor to play, no spectators allowed!

Enjoying a simple step stool. He has carried this around the house all week to sit and stand on. Credit to Gram (my grandmother) for the most entertaining "toy" for the month of January!
