On July 14th my grandfather, who is known as Bill to all the grandkids and great grandkids, made his journey to his heavenly home. We all traveled to Watkinsville, Ga to be together as a family to celebrate his life and what he's meant to us and to say our goodbyes. I am still finding myself remembering stories of times spent with Granny and Bill and am so grateful to have those memories that I will always have with me. We will continue to be grateful for the life Bill lived and pray for Granny (Gram to the great grands) as she adjusts to a different life without him by her side.
(Michael also put together a beautiful slide show for the reception after the memorial service, which he has posted on his website www.268photos.com.)
