I'd love to get back to some kind of catchy titles to my posts relating to a certain thing I decided to "blog" about, but with just trying to catch up, well, the monthly titles are the best I got. We started off the month with my first beach trip with the three kids on my own (other mom friends and their kids, but no Michael). Also Tate's first time to be set down and left to do what he wanted to in the sand. He LOVED it. It was so much fun to just watch them play and be able to have some conversation and soak up some sun. The water was still a bit cold for swimming, but we all had a great time and were completely worn out.

| Getting in to trouble. Standing and cruising more and still sneaks into the bathroom any chance he gets |

| Imagination at work again with this little play space. And evidence we've tried wearing big girl panties, but have not yet been successful at getting this girl out of diapers. |

We had planned to go to Birmingham for Easter since it also fell within Kai's Spring Break, but we decided it best to not make the long trip. I had all these big plans about all the local Easter egg hunts we would check out and how much fun it would be. But each one that came and went, we either had something else going on, or someone was napping, or it was just easier to stay home…we are so very exciting. But we did end up going to one that was very small but Kai and Penelope enjoyed finding the eggs and Kai jumped in a bouncy house and we called it successful. Nonie and Dagan came to visit us Easter weekend!! We were all so excited for them to arrive. Penelope got so excited in fact that she got car sick the first night they were here. Such a lovely way to welcome guests. But she was fine once we got her cleaned up. It was fun to have them here to go with us to church and we enjoyed just being home and spending time with them while they were here. We were certainly sad to see them go. Penelope took it the hardest. As they walked out and closed the door she screamed "NO!!!!!!" amidst sobs and ran and threw herself against the door. It was the most pitiful thing I've ever seen. But I was able to distract her with some Doc McStuffins and we moved on about our day.

Our Easter babies (They were quite uncooperative as this was after church and they were ready for lunch!) Also, our only picture from our weekend with Nonie and Dagan. We must've been having too much fun to bother with getting out the camera! |

Then the next morning (still enjoying our Spring Break) I loaded up the kids and we drove down to St. Augustine to visit my brother and his family. It was a fun and busy couple of days with seven kids in their house. They loved playing outside and running around and we even got to check out their pool. Tate loves the water and would have jumped out of my arms if I'd let him. Penelope is good to hang out on that first step and Kai is getting to be a better swimmer every time we get in the water. It was so nice to get to spend some time and Woody and Dana and their kiddos.

School is winding down but Kai is really working hard to finish strong. We are enjoying the Spring weather, wrapping up soccer for both kids and moving on to the boys' birthday month!
