Closing out 2015

December made it. We were excited about getting out our decorations and putting up the tree. Here's a little peek at what we spent our time doing this month.

Enjoying our nativity set and showing off his climbing skills. The guy can find trouble always.

We got our live tree on the 5th, got the lights on, and the kids are helping put water in it….then it took awhile before we managed to get ornaments on it!

Pudding! All by himself!

Penelope helping set up Nonie and Dagan's Christmas village

Homewood Christmas Parade - "Merry Christmas!!"

Playing outside one beautiful afternoon. He figured out how to climb the slide himself. Growing up so fast!

This month Kai got to help ring the Salvation Army bell with his teacher and class and also go sing carols at a local retirement home. This pic is from his last day of school during the class party which Penelope and I were able to go enjoy with him.

Aunt Dana and Uncle Woody and our Baugher cousins came for an early Christmas which also meant we got to celebrate Haddon's birthday together!

All the cousins ready to open presents!!

Stocking fun

Arden and Penelope were big buddies while there were here. Penelope still talks about memories from that weekend. Sweet sweet girls. Kai spent the weekend with Esther and Chloe playing outside and I didn't manage to get any pictures of them. They had so much fun though!

Watching the dancing people inside the lighted house.

Christmas Eve kiddos

Christmas night we spent with the Armstrongs. Here are all the cousins. A fun fun night.
Tate was feeling a little under the weather Christmas Day and we had to dodge a tornado before heading out that evening. Michael cooked the Turkey and Dressing which was a big success. The next few days were spent taking care of sick Tate and then Penelope. (Our 12th Wedding Anniversary came and went on the 27th without much fanfare as we worked and took care of the kids.) The end of the year was very busy for us at work and we rung in the New Year just at home and very low key with our bunch. Welcome 2016!!
