Finally Well Again

Well, just when I thought we were getting well writing the last post Michael and I both came down with whatever sinus issue Kai had been having the week before. None of us were super sick, but it just lingered for so long! We were not sleeping well and that makes us all irritable. About the time we were getting over that we each had a bout with what we think was food poisoning from a jar of peanut butter. Ugh, another week down.

Last weekend saw us all three finally well again which was a beautiful thing. We've been able to spend time with both of our parents and it is so much fun to see Kai interact with them and how much they love him. We got to go to our nephew Brooks' football game Saturday morning and then Leon came over to help Michael finish up our kitchen backsplash. Wahoo!! This past Friday night we got to play hosts to our friends the Rogers for dinner and really enjoyed the time we are able to spend with them. Saturday was a fun day for all of us. Michael got to go to the Miss State football game with his dad and Kai and I made a day trip to see Gram in GA. The visit was too short and hopefully we can do it again soon and for longer.

Sunday we went with our small group to the Old Baker Farm which was a pumpkin patch among other fun activities and we had so much fun but were so tired at the end of a LONG weekend. Now into another work week, whew. Enjoy some new pics of our 17 month old baby boy!.....as soon as I can get blogger to load them....
