This past weekend was very busy. Most Fridays we have dinner at Cracker Barrel with my parents. Mom was out of town last Friday, but my aunt and cousin from North Carolina are in town and my dad's parents went too. Kai enjoyed smiling and playing with everyone while we ate. Saturday was Kai's 5 month birthday and our friends the Steeles were coming through town and stopped to visit. We worked hard to get some things done at our house before they arrived.
Their little girl Noelle is a little over a month older than Kai. It was fun to see them together. Hopefully the next time they see each other they might play together instead of just staring at each other. Kai's favorite toy for the longest time was the floor mat that we had borrowed from Gracie. Well when he started turning over it didn't really work for us anymore SO we traded it in for her exersaucer! He loves it. He is still trying to figure out what to do in it but he likes to be upright and watch everything going on around him. He has enjoyed sitting in it everyday since. I love that next to last picture. I think Noelle is excited he fell over in front of her. Too funny! They were so cute together! Come see us soon!
