Well, here comes another monthly update for you. I have to look back at pictures to see what we have been doing because it has FLOWN by!
We have spent quite a bit of time working on our house trying to still wrap up the details of projects we began while I was pregnant with Kai. Our goal is to get it finished and try to sell our house, but we just can't seem to keep the momentum going on finishing the details. Life happens.
Kai wrapped up his last two weeks at day care and is now staying at home with Michael again. The new schedule has been an adjustment for us, but I think we all transitioned pretty painlessly. They have had a good time together playing and learning and being outside and going to the zoo. Kai's eating habits have improved and he is back to pretty much eating whatever we are eating which is nice.
We celebrated my birthday and while with my parents that weekend decided the four of us all really wanted to lose weight and that maybe a little competition would help that process. Thus on the 16th began the Baugher Jr/Armstrong Biggest Loser competition with our first weigh ins. You can read more about that on Michael's blog (armstrong9415.blogspot.com). So we have been spending more time on planning meals, buying groceries, and incorporating exercise back into our lives. So far so good. We have been pretty successful. Just good old fashioned diet/portion control/self control and regular exercise. The competition will be for 13 weeks ending on May 18th, the day Kai turns THREE! (What?!)
We also celebrated my dad's parents' 60th wedding anniversary which was a fun and memorable night for all of us. Dinner at Lovoy's, and after dinner stroll at the Vulcan, and dessert at Yolo Dessert Bar.
Here are some recent pictures!

Bath time is F.U.N.

Kai has really been into reading books too. We have lots of books here, but they have been going to the library and checking out books that he wants us to read to him over and over.

A beautiful day at the zoo!

The playground at the zoo is a must stop spot for our busy boy.

All Aboard! Choo Choo!!

Cheesy grin before bed time in some new jammies.

A new haircut this week and some of daddy's gourmet dessert last night. Yum.
What? Do I have something on my face?
