So we have survived two whole months of being parents. Yeah!! Kai is still doing great. We had his check up last week. He is now 9 pounds 15.5 ounces (without a diaper) and 22 inches long. Doc says he's growing perfectly. He eats great and loves to snuggle. He also loves to look around and "talk" to the toys on his borrowed (thank you Gracie Cook) Baby Einstein floor mat thingy. The latest news...last night he went 8 hours between feedings!! And it was from 9:45 to 5:45 instead of 7 to 2 like he's done a couple of times. We'll see if it continues, but it was nice for one night even. =) I'm posting some photos we took July 2nd. The one of me with him was from the same night. Pictures of the finished nursery...coming soon.
